OMG, if they had 6 stars I would give it. This place is the new, hip restaurant in Palm Beach (as of December 2013). The concierge at the Breakers Hotel recommended it and it was fantastic. A very cool vibe, hardwood floors, lots of tables but not crowded, energetic but not too noisy. open kitchen. ridiculous wine list (california, french, australia, etc.) Marissa (a passionate foodie/somehow previously connected to the French Laundry and Thomas Keller) was our waitress/food server/goddess of the evening. She knew the menu, the wines and made great suggestions. We started with the artichoke appetizer, which was cooked perfectly. Plus they had whacked it in half and removed all the fuzzy stuff that gets stuck in your throat, so when we got to the heart we just sliced it up, drenched it in butter and their secret sauce and chomped away. The wedge salad was tasty, and not overly blue cheesy, which is more to my liking. My wife had the short rib/stroganoff dish which was very tasty, while I savored the veal meatloaf which had a delectable sauce on top and mashed potatoes beneath. really good flavors in everything. BOTH of the managers on duty that evening came by our table to check on us, a very nice touch. For dessert, try the white chocolate cake/cocoanut thing a ma bob, or the lemon cake, both excellent. Can't recommend this highly enough. Ask for Marissa, though the reviews tout ALL of the servers as friendly and knowledgeable; it's pretty obvious this place focuses on the double challenge of providing terrific guest service AND delectable food! They overachieve on both counts!

Went during a FL downpour. The trip was worth it albeit we were soaked. We were welcomed into bar seating with great service. Ordered the cheese steak egg rolls. Insanely good. We considered ordering another batch and skipping the entree. Moved on to roasted chicken with a side of truffled mac and cheese. The chicken was meh but everything else was great. Mile high lemon cake for dessert. Tangy, sweet and soft. I want to live here. Del Frisco's is a can't miss dining experience.

We had an awesome meal. Spontaneously picked this restaurant for dinner. Packed so we sat in the bar. Had the long bone rib eye which was awesome. One of the best steaks we ever had. Perfectly cooked and had sensational seasoning. The potato cake was good but the truffle Mac and cheese was incredible. Almost forgot the steak cheese egg rolls were outstanding. Never had anything like them. It's a must get!! Let's not forget dessert. Nutella bread pudding. Topped with whipped cream and coffee ice cream. OMG. Unbelievable!! Brett was our server and did a fantastic job! Great service despite having a table of 12 kids without parents with them. Parents were in a different room. (Quite a loud night) Definitely will be back!

Coconut pie is awesome; doesn't taste like artificial coconut flavor at all (ex. coconut jelly beans). I could go back just for that. The plantain encrusted grouper with coconut rice is awesome, but the chutney has cilantro in it. Thankfully I ordered all the sauces on the side and did not regret it! Besides the grouper encrusting being a tad spicy (black pepper?) it was fantastic. The black bean garlic sauce is more like a soy sauce than anything, it went perfect with the grouper and the rice. The 3 filets with sauces was also very good, but small. The filets were very small. The menu doesn't offer very much, but what it does have is very good. Also very expensive.

Went here for my birthday tonight, and it was definitely one of the best dining experiences I have had in Florida. I had the seared asian tuna salad (absolutely amazing) my boyfriend had the NY and parents had salmon with a couple sides. We all basically licked our plates. They made me feel really special, gave me a Birthday card as well as cake which was also beyond delicious. Steak was a bit pricey, but it is what they are known for and worth it at the end of the day. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I don't give many places 5 stars but this was a 10! I had the Steakhouse Salad which was broiled prime sliced steak, deviled egg, crunchy cress, avocado, bacon, parmesan, blue cheese and a lemon-horseradish dressing-AMAAAAZING!! Incredibly priced at $18. Also tried the cheesesteak eggrolls which was like taking a drug-so addicting I wanted more! They have a huge wine selection and the staff is extremely trained and very attentive. They have been open since January and surviving the summer so hopefully will sustain until the season licks back in. I will be back as soon as I can :-)

Food: Top Notch! Loved my filet (which I enjoyed med. rare) Sides were also divine. Service: Warm, friendly and personable. Our waiter mailed us a card thanking us for enjoying our anniversary at Del Frisco's - just the sweetest! Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening with great food and service.

We enjoyed our meal here last night, service was excellent and the food was made to perfection. Every staff member from the hostess to the manager was polite and charming. Flatbreads and tuna tacos outstanding. We will be sure to return.

This is my favorite steakhouse in Palm Beach County. It's not inexpensive, but if you're dining on Palm Beach island, you're not expecting inexpensive or casual-dining fare. It's about the price of Ruth's Chris, yet I feel you get more, and better quality, at Del Frisco's Grille. Different than the Houston original, if you've been to their other chains, it's a little less stuffy and just a notch lower (insignificantly so). Like Ruth's Chris, Mortons, etc -- it's all USDA-Prime, which means your strip will be more tender than a filet from a conventional steakhouse using USDA-choice cuts. Great portions for fine-dining and very consistent. Service is good as you'd expect. Cons: Have to get to Palm Beach Island. Always seems to add another 30 minutes roundtrip. Price is higher than some, yet not a con in this case because you're paying for food quality more than location or trends!

It's evident from the moment you walk in the door everyone in the restaurant's mission is to provide 5 star service! Janelle was our server, she was energetic enthusiastic and offered great menu tips. The food did not disappoint! Veal meatloaf, crab cakes, mussels, kale salad and perfect ending Moulten chocolate cake!! I wish I lived closer, but I WILL be back! You should try it!!!

Incredible steak! Wonderful service! So good, we re-booked and came back during an 8 night stay in South Florida. The ambiance is classy and elegant. They know their wines and they are used to dealing with upscale clientele. They treated us like royalty! Even valet parking in Florida! Crazy! Must haves: Gazpacho Jumbo Lump Crab, Crema, and Cilantro Prime Bone-In Filet of Ribeye (16oz) (Incredible!!!!!!) Plantain Crusted Grouper Coconut Sticky Rice, Pineapple Black Bean Garlic Sauce (I opted for no sauce) Truffled Mac & Cheese (decadent!) any of their desserts. This Del Frisco's beats the one in Santa Monica based on service!

Great ambiance, great grilled artichokes and I used to be a fan of the truffle mac and cheese, but the recipe changed and I stay clear. My son swears by the steaks and I love the crabcake and gazpacho when they have it. I also love their flatbreadpizzas which seem to be different every timeI go. Well worth an evening out.

They have the best Filet sliders! And their Chocolate Lava cake is perfect, not too rich. Service is also excellent.

I would ideally like to give this place 3.5 stars but since I can't do that, I guess I'll round up. I came here for a family member's birthday and was excited since this is a new restaurant and Del Frisco's usually has great steaks. How could you go wrong? We started with some appetizers: the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls and the empanadas. The eggrolls were to die for and the empanadas were cheesy and had great flavor. I would definitely get both of these appetizers again if I were to come back. For dinner I ordered an 8 oz filet, and asked for it medium rare. The waiter went over what the temperature meant, warm center, yada yada. I know what medium rare is so I didn't need the lesson but it was nice that he went over it. So imagine my surprise when I cut into my steak and it was totally rare! It was basically raw and cold, definitely not what I asked for. It was gross. So I sent it back. A few minutes later, the steak came back and it was still rare and not cooked all the way. They basically just put the steak back on the grill and kept bringing it back until I liked it. I sent it back a second time and after the second time it was finally cooked correctly but still, what a bummer to order a $34 steak and have it come out so crappily. I was not pleased. The restaurant copped the steak (understandably so) because I had to send it back twice, so I appreciated that. Since it was my dad's birthday (and probably because of the steak fiasco) we got a free dessert. We opted for the coconut cream pie and it was EXCELLENT. The whipped cream was the perfect texture, the pie filling was perfectly sweet and the crust was delectable. The dessert was definitely five stars. Service was pretty good but started out sort of awkward. The bus boy spilled water on the table putting the drinks down and didn't even apologize or clean it up. Ultimately if I had to come back I would probably only do so for the appetizers and the dessert. I've been to other restaurants on the island and was sort of underwhelmed by this place. It's nice, but I've been to better.

They have only been around a year but they have exceeded expectations already. What a heavenly, classy, current decor, attentive wait staff to come home to. It's a pleasure to be there. I had the kale salad with cranberries, manchego and some kind of nut I don't remember what. I've been on an arugula mission lately, stuffing my face of green goodness.... good for my body.... so I asked if they could ADD not replace anything that was in this salad and they were MORE than happy to do so. THATS not just good service, that's GREAT service. The salad wasn't ruined in anyway because I added arugula it just made it a bigger salad, entree portion size wise. So I was tickled pink with my order. Also, as of late, I've been looking for cocktails that have the smallest amount of sugar possible in them. So when I was at the Setai Hotel/Miami and the bartender there made me a whisky sour with real egg white and all fresh ingredients.... I immediately fell in love with my new cocktail. I asked my fantasticly friendly/cute waitress if it was possible to make a whiskey sour the way I like it and she made it happen! Magic! She waved the wand. The manager also was very accommodating. Why can't more restaurant managers understand and learn and apply these principles to running a restaurant baffles me. DECOR: Warm, inviting, earth colors, modern SERVICE: EXCELLENT FOOD: VERY VERY GOOD Parking: VALET PEOPLE: Older sophisticates, seniors, mostly locals

Had a top notch dinner with top notch service last night in a beautifully designed setting. Our server was Janelle and quite frankly she together with the interim general manager Eric collectively delivered exceptional service and a fantastic experience. We started off with a margarita type flat bread which was great together with Philly cheesesteak rolls. Followed by a fantastic 16 oz prime bone in rib eye that all three of us at the table marveled each being perfectly cooked. We shared macaroni and cheese (excellent), good fries and Brussel sprouts. Had a great molten chocolate cake that blows away all others. I highly recommend Del Friscos Grille and to maximize your experience ask for Janelle.

5 stars all the way baby! Trendy, modern classy, elegant. Beautiful bar area serving amazing martinis and eclectic wine list. The dining area is warm and intimate with a view of the courtyard garden on one side and the open kitchen on the other side. The service and the food are top notch! At our table of 3 we tried a wide variety of menu items. The shrimp cocktail was delicious with 5 jumbo succulent shrimp. The filet mignon was cooked to a juicy perfection. The deviled eggs were great in presentation but served icy cold, losing some of their flavor. The truffled mac and cheese and the coconut cream pie were to die for! We also tried the wild mushroom medley and the sweet potato frites, which were also excellent. The manager came over and checked on us twice. Wow...As good as it gets!

Amazing food and wonderful service! I had the burrata, which was fresh, huge and delicious. And then...the ridiculously amazing short rib stroganoff. Holy hell, it was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone. I tried the sole, as well- also really good and would have been amazing, had I not ordered what I did- but the stroganoff is the way to go! Our server was wonderful- she was helpful and attentive- and the sommelier was also helpful and friendly.

An amazing experience with great food and outstanding service. The manager Kevin made us feel so welcome and went out of his way to make our dining experience memorable. Because of great food, and great service from Kevin and Juan, we will recommend to all. Kevin recommended a different coconut dessert and a VIP martini that we would not normally try, and we absolutely loved them both. As fans of Del Frisco in NYC, the Del Frisco Grille Palm Beach did not disappoint.

Sleek steakhouse in Palm Beach. Modern cool design with nice bar area and trendy dining room. Service was spot on. Our waitress was funny and kept up with my fathers banter the whole night. As for food, the deviled eggs were good, the tuna tacos spicy but nothing out of this world. The Filet Mignon was delicious and was cooked to my liking. Filet sliders were a nice sized portion and good with onions and cheese. Coconut grouper with mango salsa and jasmine rice was also really good. Potato side served with my Fillet was forgettable. Dessert of bread pudding unremarkable. The menu is not huge but there should be something for anybody. A good steak house with some flair on Palm Beach. I would return.

The food isn't bad but I was expecting a little bit more from this restaurant. The drinks were good and no wait staff attentive but there was a little something missing from my meal. I will come back again to try it but for now they did not fully meet my expectations

Went for a birthday dinner and it was great. The staff were perfect and gave a nice birthday card and free champagne and dessert. The food was delicious, I had an aged New York strip that was very good and the Crab cake was also excellent. Good salad and dessert. The restaurant decor is modern and clean. It is a tad pricey but totally reasonable for this category of restaurant. Enjoyed it immensely!

My bf took me here for my bd dinner. We started with ahi tacos which we both enjoyed but I felt the taco was too thick and crunchy. For our main course we had boneless ribeye and dry aged strip. Flavor was delicious and so was the potato cake that came with it. We also tried the wild mushrooms and trufle mac n cheese both tasted delightful. The bread was good so be careful or you will fill up. My cocktail was average and the beer was excellent. The staff was attentive and the restaurant it self is nice but not stuffy, relaxing fine dining.

Prime NY strip was incredible. Very succulent and cooked to perfection. Service was pleasant. Atmosphere a bit sterile. Clean but doesn't have the vibe and energy of a NY steakhouse. Not a scene - a good place for a quite dinner.

Well, I'm finally writing a review of a Steakhouse that I think was a great value! We looking for a place to go have steak, but I hate the idea of $50+ for something that I can make. That said, I had been at Del Frisco's in Santa Monica a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it, so we decided to try Del Frisco's on Palm Beach Island. Called and made a reservation for 8:45 on Saturday . . . they asked if it was a special occasion, I just mentioned it was my wife's birthday. The restaurant is on Royal Poinciana, but opposite of where the other places there are, so we drove by 2x before realizing where it was. Valet parking, but a private lot, so that was nice. Restaurant is new, nice modern decor . . . was fairly busy, but as it was later, we were seated right away. Our server Kevin was attentive, good guy . . . there was a birthday card n the table from the restaurant, which was a nice touch. They offer a nice selection, but it was Steak night . . . our meal was,: Apps - Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls - Killer Margherita Flat Bread - Good Wedge Salad - Good We ordered the Ribeye & the NY Strip, or friends ordered a Ribeye and a Steak Salad. I'd give our steak's 4.5 out of 5, Pittsburgh style was great, just a tad (and I mean a tad) overdone, but realize for me that overdone means just past mooing. Our friends mopped up their meals also with large smiles! By 9:30, the restaurant was totally empty, except for two or three other couples . . . but its Palm Beach . . . Great meal, nice staff, will probably be our go to for Steak for a while!

Del Frisco Grill is such a gem in Palm Beach. There is no single scene there, no hype, just really good food. I know, just another grill restaurant. But, The steaks are amazing and the sides, especially the truffle Mac and Cheese or the roasted Brussels Sprouts are delicious. The service is attentive and knowledgable. The tables are roomy and spread out so the noise level is very acceptable. My meal was so good tonight I finished everyone's sides and could not make it to dessert. However I've had their chocolate cake and coconut cake on other occasions and believe me you want to save a little something for desert.

I had dinner to celebrate our anniversary last night, and Del Friscos Grille did not disappoint!! The service was spot on, anticipating everything we would need. We started with the Calamari, and the Fire Roasted Artichoke. The calamari was nice balance of spicy, sweet, and crunchy. The artichoke was served with a Parmesan peppercorn sauce which was so good that had to finish it by dipping my bread in! We shared a Caesar salad that they split for us in the kitchen. I ordered the chefs recommendation a 16oz dry aged bone in Filet Mignon over mashed potatoes served Oscar style! (Lump crab, asparagus, and bernaise) Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. My fiancé ordered the Prime Ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. The staff surprised us with a dessert for our anniversary. A nice touch. Desert was a Nutella bread pudding with coffee ice cream, and a caramel sauce. Kevin was our server and did a fantastic job, I would definitely ask for him again. Thanks Del's for a great night!!!

We had a very enjoyable meal here with friends last night. We shared three appetizers -- Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls were amazing; and the Pimiento peppers and the Ahi Tuna Tacos were both good. We all had steak main courses - two of us had the bone in filet special, and two had petite filet with crab cake. Reviews were positive all around. We had a couple of well made cocktails at the bar before we ate, well prepared and friendly service. We drank Puligny Montrachet and Amarone with dinner - absolutely no complaints, naturally enough... Two of our party were almost 30 mins late and we lingered at the bar for another 30 with no pressure from the restaurant even though it was quite full.

Del Frisco's Grille is a stripped down version of Del Frisco's steakhouse. But don't worry, there's still steak on the menu, along with salads, fish, and a nice variety of other offerings. And don't forget the wine list, which is substantial enough to satisfy any wine lover. I had the 8oz filet, which was cooked exactly to order and my wife had the salmon. The service was attentive and friendly.

This place is excellent. The steaks were well seasoned and cooked appropriately. The sides were great as well including the Mac and cheese, mushrooms and mashed potatoes. The decor is Palm Beach contemporary with a stunning wine cellar and wine list.

Everything about Del Frisco's Grille is 5 stars. The steak cheese egg rolls as a starter were exceptional as were the steaks we ordered and sides (salad and garlic mashed potatoes). Service was outstanding but not too much. They have an extensive wine list and the prices are reasonable all things considered. All this great food and service does not come cheap but for a special evening I would certainly recommend you try this restaurant as you will not be disappointed.

I went on a Road Trips For Food for Desserts Required. The food was delicious and the service was superb. When we encountered an issue with one of the desserts, our server, Janelle, and Sous Chef Sam got to the bottom of the problem and corrected it...all with a wonderful attitude. Getting a thank you note from Janelle was, without a doubt, the icing on the cake. I look forward to going back soon!

Wow. What a lovely experience from the moment I made dinner reservations to the moment we were greeted by the lovely hostess and finally meeting our lovely waiters, both named Kevin. We decided in the three course dinner for $35.00. We both selected the Jumbo Lump Crab Gazpacho ... so tasty and full of crab. For entrees, my friend had the Filet and I had the Grilled Mahi with Sweet Shrimp....both excellent. For dessert we shared the Yogurt Panna Cotta with Fresh Berries and the Chocolate Espresso Tart...both To-Die-For. We also had wine with dinner...nice wine menu. BTW.... When we were seated the waiter asked for me by name and thanked me for coming. A little while later the manager came over and asked for me by name and said that he took my reservation and thanked me and my friend for coming. Excellent service....Excellent food....Excellent experience.

I was taken to Del Friscos tonight for my birthday...a party of six, and from the moment we arrived we were taken care like celebrities thanks to the manager, Elissa, who was super attentive as well as our server, Chloe. Bone in Rib Eyes were just PERFECT! Elissa picked out the perfect bottle of wine and Chloe was super knowledgeable and didn't miss a beat. Del Friscos surprised me with a birthday card signed by the entire staff as well as a scrumptious dessert! Can not rave enough, will definitely be back!

Excellent new addition to PB dining scene. A perfect mix of affordable sandwiches and salads and higher end chops and seafood. Prices for food and wine were very reasonable by Palm Beach standards. Beautifully decorated and laid out, excellent service.
